📄 Terms and conditions
The rules for using the site and the app.
The service
Kiri is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without any express or implied warranty as to accuracy, completeness or availability. Features may change or be withdrawn.
The app requires an account and an internet connection for your data.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity in your account. Provide a real email address — it is the only way to recover your account.
An invitation to a family grants access to that family's data. Only send one to people you trust.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to access other users' data or circumvent security measures.
- Do not upload unlawful content or content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Do not use the app to provide veterinary advice to others.
Intellectual property
The app, its code, guide texts, questions, hazards directory and visual identity belong to the operator. All rights reserved. You may not copy, redistribute or host the app or its content without written permission.
Content you create — photos, notes, names, descriptions — remains yours. You grant only the limited right to store it and display it to members of your family, strictly so the app can work.
Limitation of liability
The app is educational and does not replace veterinary advice — see the dedicated document. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from use of the app, including data loss or consequences to an animal's health.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Romanian law and European Union law. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Romania, without prejudice to your consumer rights in your EU country of residence.
Changes
These terms may be updated. On a material change you will be asked to agree again.
Paid photo storage
Everything in Kiri is free: the guide, the quizzes, the daily routine, weights, the calendar, notes, vet visits, the vet report, the pet-sitter sheet, Family Mode, reminders and the full export of your data. The one exception is storage space. Each bird can hold 100 photos of the day at no cost — at one photo a day that is over three months — and a paid plan raises that to 2000.
The plan costs 3 euro a month or 30 euro a year. At checkout the price is shown and charged in your own currency where your country supports it.
Payments are handled by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record: Paddle is the seller for the purchase, issues your invoice, and is where billing questions and refunds are handled. We never see or store your card details.
You can cancel at any time, and the raised limit stays until the end of the period you have already paid for. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.
If you change your mind within 14 days of a payment, write to us and we will refund it.
NOTHING IS DELETED WHEN A PLAN ENDS. The limit returns to 100 photos per bird; every photo you already have stays visible, stays in the family, and stays in the export. Only a new photo above the limit is refused, and Kiri never removes one of yours to make room.
While a plan is active you cannot delete your account, because deleting it would leave you paying for something that no longer exists. Cancel the plan first, then delete the account. We deliberately do not cancel it for you: ending a payment relationship on your behalf is not something an account deletion should do quietly.
One more thing the plan carries, and it is not a feature: while it is active you also have everything a supporter has — the colour themes, the theme builder and the supporter mark on your account. These are cosmetic. They change how Kiri looks and nothing else, they are given as a thank-you rather than sold as part of the plan, and if the plan ends they end with it. Nothing you have written is affected.

These documents describe how LunarKiri works. They are not legal advice, and the care documents are not veterinary advice.
